Who are we?
Since 2006, Printemps des Artistes has been an annual charity event organized by Istanbul Accueil and its partner Le Lycée Sainte Pulchérie in its Od'A art gallery.
As the name suggests, this art sales exhibition takes place in the spring.
The objective is twofold: to unveil new artists (Turkish and international) to the public and to raise funds for charity . Today, this exhibition has become a cultural meeting place recognized by the French-speaking and international communities, as well as by all art lovers in Istanbul.

The organizing team
Claire, Elodie, Nisrine, Pauline, Johanna and Gulenay are all volunteers and members of Istanbul Accueil. Some Istanbulites have always been and others for only a few months, they have all joined this beautiful project which combines humanism and love of art.
We put all our energy into this cultural and charitable project to make this 15th edition a timeless event bringing together many talents...
What does the 15th edition have in store for you?
After two years of a pandemic and a planetary situation not always looking good, we had only one desire: to find light. Like so many glimmers of hope, the city lights of Istanbul shine in this atmosphere cosmopolitan, multicultural, colorful , noisy , with both traditional and modern architecture that appeals to our five senses.
This year we are offering you a week of festivities, between the opening, workshops for children, guided tours with the artists, etc. Come with us to discover the LIGHTS of Istanbul through the vision of our 11 artists coming from different parts of the world and practicing photography; the painting; illustration, collage, cutting or assembly.
A charity exhibition
All works of art exhibited at the PDA are for sale. 70% of the sales go to the artists and the 30% are donated to three charities: the two associations Hayata Sarıl Dernegi and Mor Çatı and the Lape Hospital.
Deep Poverty Network
A group of researchers, sociologists, psychologists and journalists created the Deep Poverty Network (DPN) to investigate the deepening of poverty, uncover its dimensions, monitor respect for human rights and open up the phenomenon of poverty to discussions as a violation of human rights.
In March 2020, due to the measures taken in the fight against the pandemic and in order to meet the urgent needs of individuals who are in precarious jobs or who have been made redundant and who live in extreme poverty, we launched our campaign #ChangeFromYourHome. Thus, we directly provide food support and basic care to families. DPN has supported over 3,000 households in over 160 neighborhoods and 32 districts of Istanbul.
Or more precisely the Fransız Lape Hastanesi.
This hospital, established in Istanbul since 1857, was donated in 1902 to the Sisters of Saint Vincent de Paul by Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
Still run by the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity, it continues to receive patients.
It is natural that the Sainte-Pulchérie school, also founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1846, lends its support to the PDA in order to raise funds for the benefit of this hospital.
